We are open to screening short films, documentaries, visual stories, and independent projects from filmmakers and storytellers. We’re looking for films that spark conversation, emotion, connection, and unique perspectives. Selected films may be featured during upcoming Beyond the Screen screening experiences and community events.

Submission Guidelines

• Films must be submitted by the filmmaker, director, producer, or authorized representative of the project.

• We accept short films, documentaries, experimental films, and independent visual projects.

• All films must be submitted via a private screening link (YouTube, Google Drive, etc.).

• Submissions should include:

  • Film title

  • Runtime

  • Short synopsis

  • Director/filmmaker name

  • Contact information

• Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.

• By submitting, filmmakers confirm they own or have permission to use all music, visuals, and copyrighted material included in the project.

• Selected filmmakers will be contacted directly via email or phone.

• Submission does not guarantee selection for screening.

• Beyond the Screen reserves the right to curate films based on the event theme, audience experience, and programming direction.

• Selected films may be promoted across Beyond the Screen’s social media and event materials with full credit to the filmmakers.
